Well, it normally wouldn’t be clear until then, but you’re reading this guide that’ll give you those dirty details right off the bat. I’m going to break down some of the less obvious complexities contained within the game, so grab a bucket of popcorn or, well, actually don’t do that. Unless you just want to give it to me. First things first, ethereal weaving. That’s how you’re going to be fighting most everything. Sure, you can use arrows, but those are much more rare, making them a sometimes thing. You can also use your melee strike, but it’s super weak and borderline useless in many scenarios. Ethereal weaving comes in green, blue, and red forms. We’ve already noted multiple improvements in the opening months of this year, but the US government’s recent announcement marks another major milestone for getting things back to normal. The Office of Trade Representatives just announced that various computer hardware items including PCBs and more will no longer be subject to the 7.5-25% tariff fees that drove prices up shortly after the Nvidia RTX 30 Series and AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series launched. These tariffs were imposed back in January 2021, when exclusion clauses expired for Chinese imports including computer hardware and components. The immediate result at the time was that AIBs, particularly those with manufacturing based in China, raised prices substantially to account for the import cost increases.   Components such as graphics cards are traditionally considered l...]]> If 2021 goes down as the worst graphics card shortage in history, 2022 may be characterized as the greatest recovery for prices and availability. I’m going to let you in on which of the game’s skills are most worth grabbing, so you won’t waste any precious skill points chasing ones that just don’t matter at all. Let’s jump right in.   Amenotori X This is the most expensive skill in Ghostwire: Tokyo. You’ll need seven Magatama (which you’ll collect from Youkai) and 45 skill points to buy it, but it’s also one of the most useful skills in the game. It allows you to summon a tengu to many rooftops simply by zooming in on them and then grappling. It basically gives you a grappling hook. And who doesn’t like grappling hooks? That’s right, nobody. You’ll obviously need to buy Amenotori I before this, but you’ll want to grab that one as one of your first skills. This one takes some saving up. I mention it first because you should keep i...]]> There are a lot of skills to purchase in Ghostwire: Tokyo and you won’t be able to afford them all in a playthrough. Rightfully so, considering the FPS was practically born on the PC. Gun Jam takes the traditional FPS formula and remixes it into a journey that will have you blasting enemies to blasting beats. In its first gameplay reveal, Gun Jam promises multiple genres wired into its DNA, including EDM and trap. Gun Jam was previously shown off in a teaser trailer, showcasing a futuristic, yet playful, neon death robot art style. However, the latest trailer revealed just how you’ll blast enemies to the beat. Enemies will press in while entranced by The Speakers tracks, attacking you as you attempt to fire back in sync with the music. If you’ve played other rhythm games, you’ll notice the scrolling beat cue where players will have to time their shots to its prompts for points. The gameplay also looks like it will incorporate melees and a snap feature to help carry the game when you’re not directly firing on ...]]> There’s no shortage of first-person shooters on the market. However, if you want to track down the fabled Lord of Frenzied Flame ending, then you’ll need to eventually dance with this devil. You’ll find him deep underneath the royal capital, Leyndell, past many abominations, slugs, and rats. If you’ve already fought Mohg, Lord of Blood at the Mohgwyn Palace, then you’re in luck. The Omen form of this boss is roughly the same, save for a few noteworthy differences. For one, unlike the Lord of Blood, Mohg, the Omen kindly shuts the hell up. Okay, let’s be serious. Mohg will mimic the Lord of Blood’s first phase only, plus he hits harder and has less health than the latter.
